Transformer BBQ

So… after long thought I have decided to sell the Backwoods.  It was a very tough call for me since a lot of time was spent restoring this cooker.  The reality is that I don’t need it now that we have the FEC.  The quick version of why I like the FE more?

Weight: I can load the FE by myself, the BWS is a little bit of a challenge.

• Heat Setter, fixed water pan, 8 racks, heavy charcoal basket

The custom changes:

• Diamond Plate Sides + Top
• 1500 Degree fireproof insulation on all sides (huge upgrade over the FLAMMABLE duct insulation that was on there )
• All controls moved to one side of cooker (allows cooker to be laid on side for transport, or placed against a wall)
• Air intake vent changed to a ball valve- allows very easy incremental heat adjustments, also fits Stoker 25cfm silicone adapter
• Dedicated, welded inducer tube for BBQ Guru (welded into firebox)
